Pescando… historias

En 2008 la mayoría de nosotros tenía unas chozas. Techos de plástico o palma. Casas de tabla y tierra.

Salíamos, pescábamos, volvíamos y, simplemente nadie nos decía ¿qué hiciste?, ¿cómo lo hiciste?, ¿cómo podrías hacerlo mejor?

No somos pobres porque tenemos poco. Somos pobres cuando no miramos más allá.

Al estar organizados, asociados, aunque ganemos poco podemos ir cambiando nuestras vidas y mejorando nuestra calidad de vida.

Existen muchas limitantes y retos para construir un proceso de autogestión territorial desde las comunidades de pescadores artesanales. Retos relacionados con el entorno violento y marginado de nuestros ríos y con el carácter cultural mismo de los pescadores. APETRAS nos ha demostrado a todos que los pescadores asociados pueden posicionarse y hacer interlocución y cogestión con la modernidad, sin dejar de conservar su identidad. En 2008 nos registramos formalmente como una asociación de pescadores del río Sogamoso con el objeto de propender por la recuperación del recurso pesquero del río y sus humedales para contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de nuestros asociados.

Estamos ubicados en la intersección del río Sogamoso con la troncal de La Paz. En el kilómetro 11 de la vía Sabana de Torres – Barrancabermeja, veredas San Luis de Río Sucio y La Cascajera.

Nuestra razón social es APETRAS – Asociación de Pescadores Trabajadores Agropecuarios y de Servicios Múltiples del Río Sogamoso.

2019 – Convenio Numero 33-134, celebrado con ISAGEN y cuyo objeto fue Fortalecer los procesos de la mesa de pesca del rio Sogamoso, mediante el aumento de capacidades productivas y organizativas de las organizaciones de pescadores de la comunidad ribereña del sector aguas abajo del rio Sogamoso.

Dentro de esta actividad se logró:

La Construcción de 10 estanque para producción pesquera, con canal de recirculación.
La conformación del sistema eléctrico de la pesquera Sogamoso, de alta y baja tensión.
El equipamiento y dotación de la unidad productiva.
La producción y comercialización de especies piscícolas logrando la producción de 13 lotes los cuales fueron comercializados en su totalidad.
La adecuación del área de apoyo a la gestión y producción, (construcción de bodega y área administrativa).
Labores de apoyo al proyecto piscícola, (Realización de muestreos mensuales de parámetros de calidad del agua de los estanques y canal).

Se firmó con Ecopetrol en 2019 contrato Numero 3029026
Toma de información de la actividad pesquera y biológica en 12 puertos pesqueros de la parte baja del rio Sogamoso y las ciénagas el llanito y san silvestre.
Fueron capacitadas 45 personas por la universidad del magdalena, en registro y sistematización de datos de desembarco y biológico pesqueros, según el protocolo para la toma de información elaborado por el Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural de Colombia y dirigida a comunidades pesqueras artesanales afiliadas a APETRAS.
Ingreso de la información a la plataforma del SEPEC (Servicio Estadístico Pesquero de Colombia).
Otras actividades:
Identificación de lugares de desembarco.
Identificación de zonas de pesca.
Registro de datos biológicos de la especie.
Identificación de organizaciones de pescadores presentes en la parte baja del rio Sogamoso y ciénaga del llanito.

2022 / Convenio No 33/822 ISAGEN – APETRAS, cuyo objeto es “Aunar esfuerzos técnicos logísticos y financieros entre las partes que permitan la protección del recurso íctico y pesquero, mediante el rescate de peces e hidrobiota que queden atrapados en orillas y pozas, aguas debajo de la presa Latora “, donde se ha dado cumplimiento a las siguientes actividades contempladas en el convenio:

Ahuyentamiento, rescate y manejo de sitios de atrapamiento.
Prestación de servicio de motor-canoa
Identificación de puntos de atrapamiento
Registro de sitios de atrapamiento, hidrobiota y los peces rescatados y devueltos al río Sogamoso, y los individuos muertos, en caso de presentarse.
Actividades para mantener la seguridad y salud en el trabajo.
Actividades de manejo ecológico de riberas
Recolección de residuos sólidos
